Trick One "Professor's Nightmare"Three lengths of rope are shown and passed around for inspection. One is a short piece of no more than 6 inches. The second is around 18 inches and the longest piece is about 30 inches. The performer collects the ropes and holds them up for everyone to see. Slowly and clearly, the lengths are folded in half with all six ends poking out of the top of one of his hands. Three of the ends are taken by his other hand and pulled away to show that all three pieces of rope are now exactly the same length and are shown as such, one at a time. A magical pass is made and the three lengths of rope are inexplicably restored to their original and different lengths. All can be examined. |
