12-18 Months Before Your Wedding

• Visualize the wedding you want to have. Whether elegant or casual, traditional or untraditional start discussing budgets so that everybody is in agreement about what is required to make your vision a reality .
• Select locations and check references for the ceremony and the reception. • Search for wedding professionals/service providers, including disc jockey, photographer, videographer, caterer (if applicable), florist, etc. Be sure to check references carefully before hiring them.
• Choose your bridesmaids/groomsmen and other attendants.
• Confirm the wedding date, time and location with officiant or clergy member.

9-12 Months Before Your Wedding

• Create one or more bridal registries. If you have guests from out of the area, choose a Regional or National chain.
• Begin producing the guest list for your reception.
• Visit and talk to your clergy member/judge about the vision for your ceremony.
• Search for and select your wedding dress and accessories.
• Start planning your honeymoon by meeting with a travel agent.

6-9 Months Before Your Wedding

• Select the bridesmaids’ dresses and accessories, have the mothers of the bride and groom do the same.
• Search for you new post-honeymoon home if applicable.
• Select and order your wedding invitations.
• Finalize your honeymoon plans and arrangements — make sure your passports are current, etc. 3-6 Months Before Your Wedding • Order your wedding rings.
• Finalize your reception guest list.
• Update any gift registries as required.
• Shop for items for your bridal/honeymoon trousseau.
• Select tuxedos and arrange for fittings.
• Select and hire a hair stylist and makeup artist for your wedding day.
• Start planning music selections for First Dance, Father/Daughter, Mother/Groom, and any other specialty dances on Pure Energy Entertainment's Reception Planner that you choose to do.
• Make arrangements for your rehearsal dinner. 1-3 Months Before Your Wedding
• Address and send out your wedding invitations.
• Select the perfect gifts for your bridesmaids and groomsmen.
• Update any gift registries as required.
• Schedule your final wedding dress fitting.
• Pick up your wedding rings and ensure that they fit properly.
• Plan your bridal shower and bachelorette party.
• Finalize your reception menu with your caterer.
• Have all of your wedding portraits taken.
• Prepare and send your wedding announcement to the local newspapers.
• Ensure that all paperwork has been taken care of and all documents are completed.
• Make an appointment with Pure Energy Entertainment to finalize your reception plans. Go to the reception planner if you need assistance.

3-4 Weeks Before Your Wedding

• Meet with Pure Energy Entertainment to finalize reception plans
• Verify honeymoon reservations – make sure you have all documents, travelers checks, etc
• Contact those who haven’t responded to invitations – get final count for reception. 2 Weeks Before Your Wedding
• Final payment for Pure Energy Entertainment Entertainment is due by certified check or money order. 
• Give final head count to caterer.
• Pick up attendants’ gifts for rehearsal dinner. Final Week Before Your Wedding
• Pure Energy Entertainment will call to verify final reception plans.
• Contact all other wedding professionals early in week to finalize all details and tie up any loose ends.
• Prepare Emergency Bridal Kit - Have a list of phone numbers for ALL of your wedding professionals
